Okay, I have a Sony cybershot camera and I took video that I now have saved on my computer as InterVideo Media File and it is 147 MB. I want to put this video on my website (built using regular cpanel) but I assume it needs to be smaller and a different format to work right for the people who go to my site. What do I do to resize it and change the format and what format do I need to change it to, also what size does it need to be so people who don’t have internet as fast as mine can still view it without problems? Also I am just going to use the insert video link in the site builder…so it will play on the site and not have a link or anything like that. Thanks for your time!
Cool…what application should I use to convert it?

Hi,
Any legal advice would be appreciated. I am moving into a new Condo next year, and what I decided to do was start up an open forum for that specific condo, so all the owners can stay connected with each other while the condo was being built.
It was very easy for me to start up the forum, since I had a web hosting for other sites. I just created a domain, and used a pre-packaged forum (phpbb). Very quick to setup.
Recently, one of the managers posted on the forum saying this:
This is a message to inform you that although we appreciate your initiative, we are kindly asking you to cease using trademarked Vu logos and other such affiliations. Recent comments and slanderous accusations made by some of your members have put us in a tough legal position. We ask that you please take down the site within 48 hours or furthur legal actions may result.
Okay, I can remove the logo, no issue. But What legal ways do they have for me to shut down the site? It’s says right on the top of every page you view that the forum is independently owned, and has zero affliations with The Home Builder.
Since it’s an open forum, I am not going to be a big brother, and delete comments other people may have to say about the home builder.
Any help would be appreciated.
take care.

It was fine until the update and now my words up at the top of the web page have been thrown down to the bottom right when I view it and publish it. I am confused to what happen to the program. Now my page is messed up and I can not get my word on the top to be displayed on the top. From what I have read by others it looks like yahoo sitebuilder is an unpopular choice to make a page for the limited knowledgeable people like me. I **** to switch because it has done well for me so far but that may be at an end. If there is no solution I will have to unload sitebuilder from yahoo and find another user friendly page builder. I am not gonna be able to handle this much longer. If you have a useful answer for me I would be very grateful. Thanks
You are right. sorry…. it’s

Oh it has also made my page much longer and wider then what my page preferences are. This is not how it looks in sitebuilder before I published it.
Well no one looks like they knew the website builder so. I decided to use the on-line version and fixed my page. I hope yahoo gets the bugs out of the off line version. I will look into others though. Thanks all

I downloaded and installed Apache on my local computer. I know almost next to nothing with how to use it. I would like it to be a local intranet for fun and to learn how to create web pages. the reason i want to host it myself it I may turn off my internet, but would like to host local intranet websites for my home. Is there an open source web page builder that is easy to use for people that have no experience? If so, how do you install and run and build? Anyone that can point me to a step by step how to guide would be great.

We have nothing but.
The main problem right now is that pieces of text on our website disappear. Somtimes it is a paragraph. If it is a short piece of text by itself, the whole thing can disappear. There is no regularity to the problem, you never know when to expect it.
Whenever we contact yahoo about it (or any of the other problems with SiteBuilder) they tell us they’ve never heard of that problem before, and we better make sure nobody else has access to it.
(Only one person has, or ever has had, access to it.)
