Site builder

I use tripd.lycos for a couple, but apparently tripod has a deal with google, and tripod already makes money off my site.

Which is a site I can build for free.. (Its just a personal site, no selling or anything, but I will want to publish and get it out there) and promote it and be allowed to use ADSENSE or similar things?

I know a little HTML, but not enough that I want to create a whole website from it. Maybe a site that you have an option to use HTML or other features??

I’m not looking for a profile site, like FaceBook or MySpace, but a site to put whatever on. Really I’m thinking of starting a Neopets hep site (retarded I know, but if I’m bored I want something to work on)

And this probably doesn’t exist, but I’d thought I’d try; is there a site, for free, that you can create a domain name from, with no .piczo.com, .freewebs.com.

Any suggestions?? Whats ur fave??
I don’t want to be a website developer/whatever, I just enjoy doing it as a hobby, or random thing

I know the basics in HTMl like font type,color,size, backgrounds (imaged and non), some tables, blogs. So not to much.
doteasy.org looks good.

I’d just though I’d tell anyone who post on here that I don’t want to make money, or be a web designer. Just as a simple hobby.

I’m a total amateur webbuilder but I noticed when I tried the Banner Pro for flash you could make text transparant, This is the only part of this application I found unique so I haven’t bought it yet, Is there anyway I can make my text transparant when I want to without buying this 40.00 application?
Answer given is not a legitimate answer. I have used the banner pro trial to make transparent text and it works fine with site builder. I just didn’t want to spend the money for it if there is a way to make text transparant using yahoo sitebuilder or yahoo free tools.
