I don’t wanna turn into a webmaster but to learn to do something other than just do MICROSOFT Word is fantastic, for me. Should I peruse the Help in Dreamweaver or in PhotoShop to find the how-to or do something else like sit down in front of the opening page of the software and let a miracle happen so that all of a sudden I am enlightened and start doing what web page builders do?

I want to redo my own web pages. The only thing I’ve done before is use my hosting service’s web builder. I’d rather not use the builder again as it’s too limiting.
Thank you to all who answer. I appreciate the advice

PHP? If I want to create a classifieds web page, will Dreamweaver be able to support this and allow the public to add content to the site?

Can’t I just build the site the way I used to using Nvu, which is a freeware wysiwyg builder, and then upload with ftp??
I would use Nvu again, but I want to include flash in my design this time.
Is DW just trying to get free advertising by recommending setting up a DW site? Or is there a real advantage?
