Site builder

I have no experience with building websites. I own the domain already and need to build a simple site. Can anyone recommend a very easy but good website do-it-yourself?

I have used Homestead for years, but need a chance,
I am looking for a WEB HOSTING company that has many options, and not alot of this file can’t be used, etc.
I want to be able to either place my own template, web page I create and edit in the site builder the service offers or Build a new site with the Web Services.

Please help

I do not know a thing about Linux, but at HostNed they recommend Linux Hosting Package.
Do I need any special software, or does it work the same?

I just registered my domain on bluehost because they advertise a very easy site builder- KILL ME- The hardest, most difficult site builder on the planet - My head still hurst thinking about the horror- Anyway- So then I stumble across sitecube- I made a webpage I really like- can I now transfer that to bluehost? I’m confused- any help would be appreciated! Thx!

Can’t I just build the site the way I used to using Nvu, which is a freeware wysiwyg builder, and then upload with ftp??

I would use Nvu again, but I want to include flash in my design this time.

Is DW just trying to get free advertising by recommending setting up a DW site? Or is there a real advantage?

I want to build a site but only have small inventory. So I want to add Flash banners from affiliates and adsense then sell my stuff on a seperate area with google check out or paypal. Also I want to create my own widets to move around site and ad to other sites/blogs/ebay. I guess what I need to know is. Dose Yahoo store builder have tools to make flash and add code. How do you like it ?

A friend of mine was going on and on about how php buuilders were so much easier than html builders and was talking about all these free tools he downloaded off the net.

Well, I have since left that job and went elsewhere and I failed to ask him where he got all this stuff.

Anyone know where you can find stuff like this?

And if anyone has thoughts about it then let me know.

The site I want to build is a selling site site and I want to add the abilty to use pay pal on it.

I purchased a GoDaddy hosting package but would prefer not to pay for WebSite Tonight. I like using Yahoo Site Builder but I think it will only publish to a Yahoo hosted domain. Is that correct? Thanks!

Ok I am looking to build a free site and I love webs .com I saw it was formly freewebs .com I heard free webs was bad and dosnt work. So does webs.com work?
