I don’t think it is too tough to learn code, but I do think it is not friendly to say that it is to someone who is just trying to get along. There are other web design sites out there that are free and don’t demand this level of expertise. Doesn’t Yahoo want to compete, or are they just greedy for a buck?

I am very inexperienced in creating websites and I just volunteered to take on this project. I hope Yahoo! Sitebuilder will allow this option.

My computer recently died and I did not save my site builder to a disk. Can I replace this somehow on my new computer so that I can manage my website and make changes. Please tell me how if anyone knows. Thanks.

A friend of mine was going on and on about how php buuilders were so much easier than html builders and was talking about all these free tools he downloaded off the net.

Well, I have since left that job and went elsewhere and I failed to ask him where he got all this stuff.

I recently got married and found numerous places I could go to build a free website to keep my family and friends informed on the goings on surrounding the wedding. Now the wedding is over and I am looking for a creative way to keep family and friends up to speed on our lives and the changes that we will face the next few years. Does anyone know of a good site that I can go to where I can build a free personal website?

I have several questions in this topic. I bought the domain at domain.com and then got an email saying my domain wouldn’t be active for 60 days! Is this because I got a host from a different website? I paid to host at godaddy.com

Also, I see layout sites to get an idea of what I want. I already have the tools and such to create my website and all the backgrounds for the layouts. But I’m not quite sure exactly how a website builder program works. I have dreamweaver mx 2004 and adobe page maker. Where do i start? I want to have flash graphics but how do I apply them? How do i make a template?

Last but not least, I see myspace layout sites with different styles of layouts. Such as default, double background, skinny,… How do people create those templates? Because I want mine to be custom and unique. How do people get all these details on the template that I can’t find codes for anywhere? Do I do this in photoshop or dreamweaver? please help this would be great! thanks!
